people will have to get used to this solution. but it seems to me the way to go on cost alone - which means we get it sooner than later. i can only imagine that doing all this at grade is much less expensive than an overpass. plus an overpass, which must have been the obvious solution, would have created lots of noise in adjacent neighborhoods and i heard it would have eliminated left turns into 10th avenue and right turn out of 10th avenue.
Just like the Diverging Diamond interchange concept in Anchorage at the Muldoon -- Glenn highway interchange, driver education will be important.
Looks good to me. Smoother traffic flow.
